On the coast south of Lima, you’ll take a ight over the mysterious Nazca, Lines and a boat ride to see one of South America’s largest concentrations of marine wildlife on the Ballestas Islands. In Cusco and the Sacred Valley, you’ll explore the remnants of the once-mighty Inca Empire, you’ll see the towering churches that were built atop the ruins, and you’ll see the hybrid mix of indigenous and Spanish that denes the culture in this part of Peru. At the end, you’ll arrive in Machu Picchu, the one place the Spanish conquistadors never found, the mountaintop citadel that remained hidden in the cloud forest where the Andes meet the Amazon. Continue the trip with the Best of Colombia: Bogota and Cartagena. Fans of history and archaeology will enjoy Bogota’s many museums. Beyond the history, you can also nd beautiful beaches, wild dancing, delicious food, and great nightlife in Colombia.
DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN LIMA
Reception and transfer to the selected hotel in Lima. Overnight in Lima.
DAY 2: CUSCO / CITY TOUR
Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Cusco.(airfare NOT included).
Assistance at your arrival in Cusco and transfer to the selected hotel; at the hotel a hot Coca tea will be waiting
for you to help you with the altitude sickness. .
In the afternoon we will start our Cusco city tour, we will be taken on a guided sightseeing tour visiting the
Main Square, the Cathedral and the Temple of the Sun or Koricancha. Then, we drive out of the City to visit
the Inca sites of Kenko, Tambomachay (the Inca baths), Puca Pucara and the impressive Fortress of Sacsayhuaman.
When the tour ends we will return to the hotel. Overnight in Cusco
DAY 3: CUZCO / SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS
After breakfast we will have a full day excursion to the “Sacred Valley of the Incas”, where we will appreciate
the typical Indian Market of Pisac, which is open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. After having lunch
in a local countryside restaurant, we will visit the Inca Fortress and Citadel of Ollantaytambo, built to guard
the entrance to this part of the Valley. Finally we will visit the last part of our tour, the Village of Chincheros
and then we will return to the city. Overnight in Cusco.
DAY 4: TOUR TO MACHU PICCHU
In the morning we will be transferred to the train Station for a train journey to the famous Inca Citadel of
Machu Picchu. We will arrive to Agua Calientes, located in the province of Urubamba, at an altitude of
2,400 masl. and then we will take a 25-minute bus drive of winding road, to “The Lost City of the Incas”.
Once we get there we will have a guided tour to The Historical Sanctuary of Machu Picchu and visit the
Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Sun Clock, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows
and various burial grounds. After the tour we will have time to stroll around the Archaeological Site at
leisure. After lunch we will return to Cusco city. Overnight in Cusco.
DAY 5: CUZCO / LIMA
After breakfast, transfer to Cusco’s airport for our flight back to Lima (airfare NOT included). Upon arrival to Lima, we will start the City Tour visiting the most important places such as: The Main Square, the Cathedral, the Archbishopric, the Palace of Government, the City Hall of Lima, the railway station and the monumental Convent of San Francisco, where we will see its cloisters, catacombs and the religious museum. We will continue the tour with Lima’s residential areas, arriving then to the district of Miraflores, where we will have a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean and its beaches. At the end transfer to the Hotel.

DAY 6: LIMA – BOGOTA
According your flight transfer to the airport to take your flight to Bogotá
Arrival at the airport, transfer to hotel, check in and rest.
Day 7: CITY TOUR BOGOTÁ
City tour in the city. Where you can visit: La Candelaria, Gold Museum (Close on Mondays), Botero Museum, Casa
de la moneda, plaza de Bolívar, catedral primada, el Palacio del Lievano, Palacio Arzobispal, Capilla del Sagrario, Capitolio, La Casa de los Comuneros y la Casa museo 20 de julio. Visit to Monserrate, Quinta de Bolívar (Close on Mondays). And the en don the tour you can eat a typical coffee break.
Day 8: BOGOTÁ / CARTAGENA
Cartagena, Transfer to hotel. Check in. Chiva rumbera tour, arriving at typical bar in Cartagena.
Day 9: CARTAGENA
City tour in Cartagena, visiting Castillo de San Felipe, India catalina, zapatos viejos, murallas y bóvedas, walking by walled city. Transfer to hotel and rest.
Day 10: CARTAGENA
Tour to Rosario Island. You can know different small islands. Lunch. Beach day. Transfer to Cartagena. Rest.
Day 11: CARTAGENA
Breakfast. Check out. Transfer to airport.
